CCMAF is a framework for running Claude Code as a team. Work is split across role-based agents, and the state that matters lives on disk: a task board, a decision log, contracts and a progress file.
The point is that the team remembers. A new session picks up from the files, not from whatever the last chat happened to hold.
Installing takes three commands in a terminal: add the marketplace, install the kernel, then the framework. They are at the end of this guide, each with its own copy button, and on the CCMAF page. Then open a project in Claude Code and run /ccmaf:init.
How it fits together
- Roles. An architect designs, a developer builds, a reviewer checks and a tester verifies. Each works in its own scope.
- State on disk. The task board says what is in flight, the decision log says why, and contracts say what the pieces promise each other.
- Session continuity. A progress file records what the last session finished, so the next one starts from facts.
Where to go next
Commands and the full reference are in the CCMAF repository README. Come back to the blog for notes on how the framework changes in practice.
